Don Q is a 2024 American crime comedy-drama film directed by Claudio Bellante, written by Claudio Bellante and Michael Domino and produced by Claudio Bellante, Michael Domino, and Armand Assante..[1] "Don Q" stars Armand Assante as the titular character, alongside Chuck Zito, Federico Castelluccio, Vincent Pastore, and Saundra Santiago.
Plot
[edit]Set in New York City's Little Italy, the film follows Don Q (Armand Assante), a longtime resident who believes himself to be a powerful mafia figurehead. Don Q sets out to reclaim the neighborhood and its fleeting values. His delusions of grandeur are challenged when a ruthless ex-convict returns to the area, embroiling Don Q and a loyal recruit in a turf war over Little Italy.[2]
