[edit]Ditchcarbon was founded in London in 2022 by Marc Munier, an environmentalist and software executive, who was later joined by Cam Pederson and Alex Rudnicki. [6][3][7]
Product and Services
[edit]DitchCarbon integrates carbon emissions data into business systems like procurement and ERP.[3] It provides actionable intelligence on Scope 3 emissions, a major component of companies' carbon footprints.[1]
In 2024, DitchCarbon introduced a few major features including supplier-specific emissions tracking and an SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) tracker for monitoring supplier emissions against their sustainability commitments.[8] [9]The platform also has a Forecasting Module that helps organizations predict future emissions and identify potential risks in their decarbonization strategies.
The company also offers publicly accessible emissions profiles for all reviewed organizations, including Apple, Pfizer, and Unilever. It operates as a remote-first organization, with employees located in various countries, such as the United Kingdom, Spain, Hungary, the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and Bangladesh.
