Dimitrios Zaphiropoulos (Greek: Δημήτριος Ζαφειρόπουλος) is a Greek politician and former member of the far-right political party Golden Dawn. He later became the leader of the Patriotic Alliance party.

Political career

Zaphiropoulos was once a member of Golden Dawn's political council. Golden Dawn was a far-right, neo-Nazi political party in Greece that rose to prominence during the Greek government-debt crisis. The party was later declared a criminal organization by the Greek courts in 2020.After leaving Golden Dawn, Zaphiropoulos became the leader of the Patriotic Alliance party. The Patriotic Alliance is a minor political party in Greece that has participated in local elections.

2006 Greek local elections

Zaphiropoulos ran as a candidate for the Patriotic Alliance in the 2006 Greek local elections. These elections were held to elect representatives to local government positions throughout Greece.

Ideology
