Dheeraj Kher's career in the film industry began with his venture into film distribution in Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu, in 1996. Over the years, he distributed numerous films, laying the groundwork for his future endeavour's.
In 2005, Dheeraj took a leap into film production with his debut project Kokki, under the banner of Friend Cinemas. The film received acclaim, marking the start of his successful career as a producer. Subsequent productions like Karuppusamy Kuththagaithaarar, Malayan, Myna and Nedunchalai further solidified his reputation in the industry.
