Dhansiri is a small town in Karbi Anglong district of Assam state of India. Dhansiri is 22km away from the district headquarter, Diphu, and 23km away from Dimapur, Nagaland. It is surrounded with reserve forest[1].

[edit]NH-329A passes through Dhansiri and connect the town to its district headquarter, Diphu, and Dimapur, the largest city in Nagaland.
Railway
[edit]The town curreently has a Dhansiri Railway Station (DSR), it fall under Lumding junction. The station is also has a spur Dhansiri–Zubza line that connect isolated North Eastern cities, mostly in Nagaland[2].
