[edit]Devan Jayakumar is an Indian film director best known for directing the film Valatty. His work has contributed to Indian cinema with a particular focus on innovative storytelling through experimental filmmaking, fantasy and drama.
Career
[edit]Devan Jayakumar began his career in the film industry as a director and has since made significant strides with his debut film, Valatty. The movie, known for its canine perspective and emotional depth, has garnered attention from audiences and critics alike.
Valatty centers around a Golden retriever named Tomy who falls in love with his neighbor Amalu, a cocker spaniel. Their owners do not approve of the same and tries to keep them away from each other. Thus, Tomy and Amalu decides to elope, and embark on an epic adventure. Devan Jayakumar's direction was also noted for being the first full fledged canine movie in India.
