Carl Nordström (born 15 December 1999), known professionally as Desembra, is a Swedish music producer, songwriter, and artist. He is known for his work with artists such as The Weeknd, Swedish House Mafia, and Fred Again. Nordström has received industry recognition, including a Grammis award for "Best Electronic/Dance" in 2023^[1] and a BMI Award for his contributions to hit songs like "Sacrifice" and "Moth to a Flame."^[2]

Early Life and Career

Carl Nordström was born in Täby, Sweden. He began his music career in 2012 by sharing original compositions and remixes on SoundCloud. His early work was heavily influenced by genres such as dubstep, house, and intelligent dance music (IDM).^[3]

Nordström gained prominence in the early 2020s when he collaborated with the Swedish supergroup Swedish House Mafia. His contributions to their debut album, Paradise Again (2022), marked a significant milestone in his career.^[4]
