Deepak Singhal is an Indian - African Business Executive currently working as Executive Officer at Tolaram Group - a Singapore Based Commercial entreprise. [1]
Early Life
[edit]Singhal was born and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. His father, Ram Kumar Singhal, was a businessman, and his mother, Shakuntala Devi Singhal, was a homemaker.[2]
Education
[edit]Singhal attended St. Lawrence School for his Secondary education. He completed hi Bachelors in Commerce from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata in 1997.[3]
He holds the Chartered Accountants membership from ICAI[citation needed]
Personal Life
[edit]Singhal married to Ekta in 2010 and both gave birth to a girl.
Careers
[edit]Singhal works as a top level manager at Tolaram Group. He had worked with Hindustan Unilever before joining Tolaram Group. Upon his joining at Tolaram, The company grows significantly in the African and Middle Eastern market. [4][5][6][7]
Accolades
[edit]Singhal is one of the seven foreign nationals to receive the National Honors Award, the highest civilian honor from the Government of Nigeria, presented by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2022. Listed among the Top CEOs of Africa, recognized by CEO Today Magazine as part of the Africa Awards in 2019. [8][9][10]
