Mandeep Kaur (1992 – August 4, 2022) was an Indian-American Sikh woman who committed suicide after suffering domestic abuse from her husband for 8 years on a daily basis. Before hanging herself, she made a video of herself narrating her abuse, which caused outrage on social media. According to her relatives, she was abused for dowry and not giving birth to a son.
