Dean Bartles is an American Technologist known for his expertise in manufacturing technology. He is the President and CEO of the Manufacturing Technology Deployment Group, Inc.[citation needed]
Early life and education
[edit]After high school, Bartles earned an Associate of Arts in Accounting and Business from Hagerstown Junior College in 1976. He received Bachelor of Business Administration from Shepherd College in 1978, followed by an MBA from Shippensburg State University in 1981.[1]
Career
[edit]Bartles started his career as a Program Administrator at Fairchild Republic Company in 1978.[citation needed] Bartles left Olin in 1997 when he joined Primex Technologies as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Primex Technologies was later acquired by General Dynamics in 2001,[2] where Dean acquired the role of Vice President and General Manager.[citation needed]
He worked there for 13 years before joining UI Labs in 2013 as Chief Manufacturing Officer and Founding Executive Director.[3] In 2016, he began serving as Senior Technology Advisor at The American Society of Mechanical Engineers and subsequently served as President of National Treasury Management Agency from 2018 to 2019.[4] Currently, since 2020, he has been serving as President and CEO of the Manufacturing Technology Deployment Group.[5]
