David M. Parks is an American film director[1], cinematographer[2], producer[3] and CEO[4][5] known for his work in the independent horror, and action genres[6].
Born, August 8th 1982[7] in Lexington, North Carolina,[8] He attended Savannah College of Art and Design[9] and Studied Sound Design.[10] Graduating in 2008. But upon moving to Los Angeles in 2010 began freelancing as a producer on Thomas J. Churchill's[11] film, Emerging Past in 2011.[12] from there he worked with Churchill Productions[13] on notable Indie film: Day of the Living Dead[14] and action thriller Check Point[15] featuring Bill Goldberg (WWE, WCW)[16], Kenny Johnson (S.W.A.T, Bates Motel)[17], and Stephen Geoffreys. (Fright Night, 976 Evil)[18]
Cinematography
[edit]In 2024, when interviewed by Cavas Rebel he stated: "I’m probably best known as a cinematographer. I’ve lensed somewhere around 80 films at this point in my career."[19] His first professional credit is the 2015 Music Video by Twiztid: Boogieman[20] which garnered over 2,000,000 views. Other notable credits cinematography credits include: The Amityville Harvest, The Amityville Moon, Amityville Uprising Released under Lionsgate.
Directing
[edit]His first major directing credit was Static Codes Featuring Taryn Manning, Mike Ferguson, and Augie Duke. Other Notable films he's helmed have been: Heart for the Holidays for BET, Deadly Desire for AllBlk, and horror thriller and AppleTV exclusive: When it Rains in LA released through Gravitas Ventures, featuring Eric Roberts, Monroe Cline, Mike Ferguson, and LeeAnne Bauer.

[edit]David M. Parks has been married to his wife, Marisa Parks since 2012. They reside in Los Angeles with their daughter Eliana Parks.[21]

[edit]In 2023, David M. Parks founded Rad Cine Films with his wife, Marisa in Hollywood CA. Its offices are located at 1149 N. Gower St. in Hollywood.
