Daniel Millar (born Withington, Manchester, 1982) is a British-Irish actor, writer and comedian.

Career

Millar trained at LAMDA, graduating in 2007. He has worked at The Royal National Theatre, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare's Globe[1], The Almeida Theatre, The Royal Exchange Theatre, and in the West End. In 2015 he was longlisted for Best Male Performance at the Off West End Theatre Awards (Offies) for his role as Philoctetes in Stink Foot at The Yard Theatre, Hackney.[2] He appeared as Max in Mischief Theatre's The Play That Goes Wrong,[3] and also works extensively in immersive theatre, including various roles for Punchdrunk.

As a writer, Millar has translated[4] and co-adapted several notable works by the German playwright Friedrich Schiller, including Mary Stuart,[5] Intrigue and Love,[6] The Robbers,[7] and Fiesco,[8] all performed in London by The Faction Theatre Company.
