Daniel Finkelman (born February 9th, 1978) is an Israeli-American film producer and director active in the independent film sector.
Daniel has received industry wide recognition in the Best First Film category[1] at the Independent Spirit Awards for producing A24's Menashe,[2] which premiered at the Sundance and Berlinale film festivals in 2017, and for The Vigil,[3] which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2019. Daniel is the Lead Producer on The Performance, starring Jeremy Piven and Robert Carlyle, a feature length film based on the work of Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Arthur Miller; which premiered at the Rome and Palm Springs International Film Festivals and is slated for release in 2024. He is also producing the upcoming films "Tin Soldier", a thriller starring Robert De Niro, Jamie Foxx, and Scott Eastwood and "Our House is On Fire",[4] a love story filmed entirely in Ukraine, and set against the dramatic backdrop of the Russo-Ukrainian War. In 2024, Daniel created, produced and directed the limited series "One Day in October[5]", recounting four true survival stories from the October 7th attack in Israel.
