Draft:Dan Merica
Submission declined on 27 October 2023 by CNMall41 (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: All of the references are brief mentions or simple announcements which do not go into depth about his life and career. I tried searching on Google but there are a ton of results mainly with him being the author of the reference (which would not be considered independent). Are you able to provide some references that talk "about" him in-depth? If so, ping me here or reach out on my talk page when you add them and I will come back and take another look.
