Musical Style
[edit]Gorandi’s music is an exploration of intertwined realities—physical and virtual, past and future, human and machine. Concepts such as pluriculturalism and new technologies are fundamental in his work. His creations move fluidly between these domains, constructing a hybrid space where cultural memory and digital abstraction are in constant flux.[5]
The artistic repertoire of Damián Gorandi is expansive, encompassing instrumental compositions for classical ensembles and unconventional instruments, such as pre-Hispanic instruments, as well as choral and orchestral pieces. He is also active in the realms of theater, 3D sound design, electroacoustic music, audiovisual works, and video art. Whether performing his own compositions or collaborating with other artists, Gorandi’s work embodies a commitment to innovation and interdisciplinary creativity.
