He credits Slick Rick as a key inspiration for his storytelling, calling him “the greatest storyteller that Hip Hop has ever seen.” He adds, “I think his stylistic DNA can be found in any storytelling song in Hip Hop.”[8] D’NME’s distinctive rapping style draws from a broad range of influences, including 2Pac, Big L, Snoop Dogg, and Jay-Z.[9]
Rapping Technique
[edit]D’NME is celebrated for his ability to ride and flow with intricate rhythms,[10] showcasing his signature lyricism over gritty production.[11][12] Known for his rapid and aggressive rapping styles, he employs multi-syllable rhymes intricately aligned with the beat.[9] His highly lyrical and technical approach distinguishes him within the underground hip-hop scene.[2]
