The Cygnus Gymnasium is a public secondary school in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It is one of the five categorial gymnasia in Amsterdam, the other four being the Barlaeus Gymnasium, Vossius Gymnasium, Ignatius Gymnasium, and Het 4e Gymnasium. It offers a classical curriculum, including studies in Latin and Greek. The school is since 2013 housed in ‘the ship’ a brutalist 1956 building at the Wibautstraat corner Vrolikstraat designed by the architects Ben Ingwersen, Commer de Geus en C. v.d. Bom.
