Countdown is an upcoming crime drama television from Derek Haas, starring Jensen Ackles for Amazon Prime Video.
Premise
[edit]Following a suspicious murder, an LAPD officer is recruited to a secret task force of undercover agents.[1]

Production
[edit]The 13-part series from Amazon MGM Studios was created by Derek Haas who is also executive producer and showrunner. Jensen Ackles was confirmed in the cast in June 2024.[2][3] That month, Eric Dane and Jessica Camacho joined the cast.[4][5] Violett Beane, Uli Latukefu and Elliot Knight joined the cast in July 2024.[6]
Filming is reportedly set to commence in Los Angeles in September 2024.[7][8]
