While speculative, this proposed unit facilitates expressing cosmic scales exceeding those typically used in astronomy.
Development
[edit]The concept of the Cosmodex Unit, and the term itself, were formalized and publicly introduced in 2024 by Jeffrey Michael Schatz in collaboration with a large language model (LLM) assistant through online discussion [3]. Its primary aim serves as a reference point for thought experiments within infinite universe and multiverse frameworks.
