Conestoga College Digital[1] TV (CCDTV) is an Canadian online TV station run by the School of Creative Industries of Conestoga College. It features original shows and updates students about the current affairs. The Channel officially launched on June 12th 2024[2] and is now available to stream from any Roku TV, it also publishes some of it's content on YouTube [3]

Programming

The station streams all original shows and is actively producing new content.

  • Local Bites[4] is a culinary show produced in collaboration with the Culinary school, it dives into simple student recipes, local food scene and Food science.
  • Sound Check features a host guiding viewers through the world of music, offering insights into different genres, artists, and trends, and deepening the appreciation for diverse musical styles.

  • Conestoga Connected[5] is an entertaining and informative program that connects Waterloo Region residents to its people and community. Reporters from Conestoga College’s Broadcasting – Television and Independent Production program give viewers a peek at life in and around the Tri-City area.
  • Let's Talk Careers Podcast features conversations with industry professionals and career experts, providing listeners with valuable insights, advice, and inspiration for navigating their career paths.
  • Humans Are Alright  features uplifting stories and positive profiles, celebrating the inspiring and resilient aspects of people from all walks of life. The show highlights personal achievements, community contributions, and the everyday kindness that makes a difference.

Newscasts and other local programming

The channel streams a 15 minute news segment twice a day every week day that features stories and updates from the local and surrounding region of Kitchener Waterloo Cambridge and has a segment for School Updates at the end.

The Station streamed[6] The 2024 Softball Canada U23 Championship held at Peter Hallman Ball Yard from July 31st - August 4th.[7]

The Station also streams Convocation Ceremonies for family members who can not attend, The summer ceremony peaked the stations viewership at 13,000.[8]

Expansion Plans

The station is already availbe on Roku TV and plans on expanding on to other service providers.
