Draft:Climate Film Festival

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Climate Film Festival (CFF) is an annual film festival held in New York City in September during the opening weekend of Climate Week NYC. The festival is part of a growing movement to bring culture and entertainment to the yearly event.[1]

The festival highlights documentary, narrative, and experimental films that take on climate themes.[2] The 2024 edition took place Sept. 20th - 22nd and featured 59 films in competition across all categories, as well as a special pre-release screening of The Wild Robot.[3] 63% of selected films were documentaries, although only two of the feature films were fictional climate narratives.[4]

The 2024 Festival took place at The Explorers Club, SVA Theatre, and DCTV.
