Claz'room College is a Malaysian Creative Multimedia Art College located in Petaling Jaya of Selangor, Malaysia. Offering technical and vocational (TVET) Dual Certification Advance Diploma Programs for 4 major courses. The institution has been accredited by Skills Malaysia under the Department of Skills Development (Malay: Jabatan Pembagunan Kemahiran)[1] alongside being certified by Warnborough College[2] in The United Kingdoms.
The institution has also achieved multiple milestone over the past few years including the Rookies Awards for the Global School Award for the year of 2023 and 2024[3]. Claz'room College was rated 5-star by the Ministry of Human Resources for their advanced multimedia courses.[4] Claz'room recently celebrated the opening of their new campus at Mercu Mustapha Kamal, which was officiated by Dato Kamil Othman, chairman of the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS), and Dato’ Hjh Fazwinna Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal, Group Executive Chairman of EMKAY Group.[5]
History
[edit]Claz'room was founded in 2009 by 2 founders; Wong Jin Min and Tung Yan Ning, and started of as a Creative Production Studio, extending their services to local and international clients. Observing the gap in the creative talent pool, the founders set a mission to fill the space.[6] In 2011, Claz'room College was awarded the Intellectual Property Creators' Challenge (IPCC) Grant Winner Award by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).[7] The year 2013 marks the year of the institution's evolution to Claz'room Academy, a multimedia arts institution. In 2017, Claz'room achieves official accreditation to be known as the present Claz'room College.[8]
In 2023, Claz'room College hits a major milestone by obtaining recognition of being amongst the top global creative schools by The Rookies Awards and a 5-Star rating from the Ministry of Human Resources.[9][3][4] Similarly, Claz'room has also received The Rookies Award in 2024, and celebrated the grand opening of their new campus. [3]

- Partnering with Level Infinite, Claz'room College integrates popular game titles like PUBG and Honor of Kings (HoK) in their courses, fostering Malaysia's future game developers.[16]

- In partnership with Flystudio, Claz'room College provides advanced Visual Effects courses to train VFX artists in Malaysia
- Game Art Development with Wizards of the Coast
- Claz'room College contributed to the game art for Kaijudo, in collaboration with Hasbro's Wizards of the Coast[17] [18]
