Classics is a compilation album by the American singer-songwriter Don McLean released in 1992. The album was certified gold for selling 500,000 copies by the Recording Industry Association of America on 23 August 2024.[1]

The compilation was released in Germany under the title American Superstars – Classics[2]

Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic states that it is a "ten-track budget-priced collection that features some of his biggest hits" while he suggests that it "isn't a bad budget-priced disc" he does state that "there are better collections available, offering more songs and better sound for not much more money."[5]
