Chuck Figueroa (born May 7, 1988) is an American investment partner, corporate strategist, philanthropist, angel investor, and the founder of The Cerebral Agency, a consulting and marketing firm based in New York City. He currently serves as a venture partner at Republic and as a global expert at Blockchain Founders Fund, based in Singapore.

Early Life and Education

Figueroa graduated from Los Angeles High School in 2007, where he played football for three years and served as student body vice president. He earned a full scholarship from the Fulfillment Fund to attend Fresno State, where he co-founded the Fresno State Athletic Association and studied Mass Communications and Media Studies. Figueroa transferred to UCLA, where he studied Communications Studies and graduated. He later served as professional development chair for the Fulfillment Fund, the organization that provided him with his scholarship.

Career

Public Relations

Figueroa began his career in public relations in Los Angeles, where he worked with athletes and entertainers. His first client was UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz, and he later collaborated with comedian Theo Von for several years. Figueroa also worked with NBA and NFL athletes, expanding his influence in the sports industry. He founded Figueroa and Associates, opening his first office in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles. In 2013, Figueroa did public relations for the documentary JFK: A President Betrayed with Agora Productions.

The Cerebral Agency

In 2020, Figueroa founded The Cerebral Agency, a consulting and marketing firm that works with elite talent across sports, entertainment, and music. The agency specializes in creating high-impact collaborations, co-producing sports documentaries, and raising capital in partnership with hedge funds and venture capital firms. In 2023, Figueroa produced the film Paris All Access with Kyle Kuzma, in collaboration with Close Up 360.

Investments and Advisory Roles

Figueroa currently serves as a venture partner at Republic, a leading investment platform, and as a global expert at Blockchain Founders Fund, based in Singapore. He uses his strategic expertise and extensive industry network to advise start-ups and established businesses, helping them scale operations and attract funding. Figueroa also advised and managed partnerships for Through The Lens, a sports media company founded by Alex Bazzell and influenced by the late Kobe Bryant.

Philanthropy

Figueroa serves on the board of the Right Way Foundation, which helps foster youth in Los Angeles. He is committed to supporting initiatives focused on education, community development, and expanding opportunities for underrepresented groups.

Personal Life

Figueroa resides in New York City. He is also an angel investor, leveraging his experience to support early-stage companies across various sectors.
