Chinatown is an upcoming television series at Netflix. It is an spinoff of the 1974 film Chinatown.
Production
[edit]In November 2019, it was reported that David Fincher and Towne would write a prequel series for Netflix about Gittes starting his agency.[1] In August 2020, it was announced Ben Affleck would write and direct a film about the making of Chinatown, based on the non-fiction book The Big Goodbye: Chinatown and the Last Years of Hollywood.[2]
