Charlie Walker-Smith (born 19 September 2007) is an Anglo-Welsh professional footballer who plays as a central defender for Crystal Palace.^[1]

Early life

He attended Epsom College where he also excelled as a rugby union player before focusing on football.

Club career

He joined Crystal Palace in 2020.^[2] In 2024, he was included in The Guardian’s Next Generation 2024: 20 of the best talents at Premier League clubs series.^[3]

International career

He played for Wales U17 at the 2024 European U17 Championships.^[4]
