History

‎Founded in 2023 by Niyi John Olajide, CEO of Axxess, Cavista Holdings was set up to oversee his various companies in Nigeria, which operate in the agriculture, technology, hospitality and financial services sectors.

These companies include:

  1. Cavista Technologies, which was acquired in 2020 and has offices in Nigeria,[2] Botswana[3], [4]India and the Phillippines
  2. Agbeyewa Farms, which was established in 2021 in Ekiti State
  3. Glocient Hospitalities, established in 2022; concessionaires and managers of Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort and Conference Center, Ikogosi, Ekiti State[5][6][7]
  4. Payzeep Technologies[8][9]

Cavista Holdings' Investments are organised into four verticals: Agriculture, Hospitality, Financial services and Information Technology

Agriculture

  • Agbeyewa Farms Limited - Currently, the largest cassava farm in Nigeria with over 7,000 hectares of land spread across four locations in Ekiti State(Ipao, Gede, Iyemero and Ikosun). One of the largest employers of labour in the state, Agbeyewa Farms Limited and the Ekiti State government have a number of partnerships, including a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a a 100,000 hectare cassava farm in Ekiti State,[10][11] as well as a collaboration to grow grassroots football in the state through the Agbeyewa Cup football tournament.[12][13][14]

Hospitality

  • Glocient Hospitality Limited - This company are the current operators of Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort and Conference Center. The resort was taken over from the Ekiti State government in 2022[15] and subsequently transformed after billions of naira was invested by Cavista Holdings. The resort was voted the Best Holiday Resort in Nigeria for 2023[16][17] and 2024[18] at the Hotels Managers Conference Awards

Technology

  • Cavista Technologies - A global technology services company focused on building innovative solutions that empower clients to address their’ most complex technology needs with robust solutions. With a strong presence in key global markets, Cavista Technologies has a diverse workforce of highly skilled software designers, engineers and product development teams that serve clients worldwide. The company also organises an annual hackathon amongst students of universities in Nigeria[19] and India[20] to help bridge the skills gap and nurture talents, ensuring that young people start thinking critically and solving problems on a global scale.[21][22]
