Ever since he was a child, he was passionate about the sport of archery, he later went on to enter an Olympic training center in the Mexican capital. It should be noted that he was considered to be one of the great promises of Olympic Sport in his discipline,[1] he was even promised to be one of the greatest archery talents of Mexico and the entire world.[2]

Cause of death

[edit]

Carlos Vaca committed suicide on March 28 of 2023 at the age of 20 years old. According to some sources, he jumped from the ninth floor of a building in Juliquilla, although other witnesses reported it was an accidental fall. It's been rumored the tragic incident was due to the homophobia he faced from his parents who did not accept his homosexuality, although this has yet to be confirmed by authorities.[3] The entire sports family in Mexico and other countries around the world were terribly shocked by the news.[4]
