O Carcharodon hubbelli foi uma espécie de tubarão da família Lamnidae, uma espécie de tubarão branco pré-histórico.[1]Ele é também chamado de Tubarão branco de Hubbell, em português. Ele viveu no período Mioceno entre 8 e 4.5 milhões de anos atrás. Ele media até de 4,9 a 5,1 metros (16-17 pés) de comprimento.[2][3][4]Ele é conhecido apenas por 222 Dentes e 45 Vertebras que eram contituidos por uma mandibula, sendo considerado um parente muito próximo do Tubarão branco atual.[5]
