Callum Jake Wood (born February 28, 2003) is a professional footballer who plays for Bristol City of the EFL Championship.[1]
Career
[edit]Born in Hereford, Wood played at West Bromwich Albion and Cardiff City Academies before playing Non-League football aged 16 years-old for Cinderford Town. He joined Bristol City following a trial in 2020.[2]
2021/22
[edit]Wood joined Bath City on loan during the 2021-22 season and was awarded their player of the month award in December 2021.[3] In May 2022 Wood agreed a three-year professional contract with Bristol City.[4]
2022/23
[edit]In November 2022 he joined Yate Town on a months loan.[5] He joined Yate Town again in February 2023.[6]
2023/24
[edit]In July 2023, Wood was included in the Bristol City first-team squad on a pre-season training camp in Austria.[7]
International career
[edit]In August 2021 he was called up to the Wales U19 squad.[8]
