Calamity Hustle is an upcoming American action comedy film written, directed, and co-produced by Aaron and Adam Nee. It stars Ryan Reynolds and Channing Tatum, who also serve as producers.
Premise
[edit]Set around Christmas, two estranged brothers, a police officer (Reynolds) and a low level criminal (Tatum), grow up on the wrong side of the tracks, and go in the opposite direction. When the criminal is implicated as part of a diamond heist, the cop must hunt him down before those he ripped off.[1]

[edit]In December 2023, it was announced that an action comedy film titled Calamity Hustle was in development, with Aaron and Adam Nee directing from their own screenplay, and Ryan Reynolds and Channing Tatum set to produce and star. It was reported that Warner Bros. Pictures, Amazon MGM Studios, and Netflix were in the midst of acquiring the rights to distribute the film, with Netflix eventually dropping out of the bidding.[2] Later that month, Warner Bros. won the bidding war.[1]
Filming
[edit]Principal photography will occur in New York City, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.[1]
