Cadernos de Linguística (Cad_Lin) is a Platinum Open Access journal sponsored by the Brazilian Linguistics Association (Abralin). It publishes rigorously peer-reviewed scholarly research that contributes significantly to the understanding of human language. The journal operates under a continuous publication model. Manuscripts are required to be deposited in a preprint repository prior to submission, and accepted papers are published online immediately after the production process is completed.
Open Science Practices

- Collaborative Culture: Supporting practices that enhance diversity, inclusion, and responsible research behaviors.
Diversity Statement

The journal employs Smart Citations, which provide context for how articles are cited and allow readers to explore the influence of research. Additionally, altmetric tools track online mentions in news outlets, blogs, and social media, offering insights into broader engagement. Open endorsements through Plaudit enable researchers to publicly recognize valuable work, while integrated platforms like Hypothes.is facilitate interaction between authors and readers. Together, these features foster a more dynamic and connected research ecosystem.
