CT Group Joint Stock Company (Vietnamese: Tập đoàn CT Group – Công ty CP, lit. 'CT Group Company - JSC') is a Vietnamese corporation headquartered in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City (Léman Luxury building). ). CT Group is one of the corporations with a development history of more than 30 years in Vietnam, focusing on technology, industry, real estate development, retail and services from health care to hotels and logistics. . ..[1] and is currently present in more than 12 countries around the world.[2]. The company was founded by real estate developer and businessman Tran Kim Chung in Vietnam in 1992 as Saigon Trading Company Limited and initially exported coconut fiber and exported rice.
History
[edit]On June 29, 1992, CT Group was established in Ho Chi Minh City.[3].
In 1993, Saigon Trading Company Limited was renamed to C&T Trading and Services Company Limited, which means: “Challenge of the Twenty-first Century.” Additionally, Him Lam Company Limited was established.
Year 2000: Developed a chain of independent retail stores nationwide.
Year 2007: Achieved significant business milestones by forming the Lifestyle Industry, integrating various societal needs: housing, shopping, entertainment, dining, healthcare, and education. CT Group was recognized by The Wall Street Journal as the “Claws of the Vietnamese Dragon” and received numerous awards from the government and the press.[4].
In 2008: Established CT Land real estate company.
In 2010 – 2011: Organized and sponsored various programs such as the “Golden Opportunity for Investment and Cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam” forum, VIREC 2010 exhibition, and accompanied the high-level government delegation to the G20 Summit. This period marked significant progress for CT Group, setting the stage for a remarkable breakthrough in 2012.
Marked the 20th anniversary with numerous enthusiastic activities across all business sectors. On June 29, 2012, CT Group received two Third-Class Labor Orders from the President and three Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister for outstanding achievements by individuals and collectives.[5]
Year 2020: Established VGCT office in Israel.[6]
Year 2020: Launched the Diyas brand.[7]
Transfer
[edit]Metro Star Investment Joint Stock Company was established in 2005 to manage the Metro Star project, which was transferred from Cong Chanh Company.[8]
Community Programs
[edit]In 2009, CT Group established the Saigon Heart Fund.[9] This nonprofit organization focuses on recognizing and supporting individuals who do good deeds and those facing challenging circumstances. Over the past 12 years, the fund has made positive contributions, spreading compassion and highlighting positive role models in society.
- CT Group donated 1 billion VND to social welfare activities in Bình Định province.[10]
- CT Group received a Certificate of Merit from the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee for their efforts in combating Covid-19.
- “CT Group distributed 1,000 tons of rice directly to the poor in 350 quarantine areas during the pandemic.”[11]

Title
[edit]CT Group received two Third-Class Labor Order awarded by the President and three Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister for individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its establishment (2012).[13].
On January 19th in Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City, CT Group will receive the Second-Class Labor Order for its achievements in business and contributions to the community and society.[14].
On the morning of June 29, 2022, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, First Vice Chairwoman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council, awarded the First-Class Labor Order to CT Group Joint Stock Company and the Second-Class Labor Order to Mr. Tran Kim Chung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CT Group Joint Stock Company.[15]
