Bryan-Anthony Chibuike Hein, often known simply as Bryan Hein, is a German professional footballer who plays as a left back or as a left midfielder for 2.Bundesliga club SSV Jahn Regensburg.

Club career

Bryan Hein started his youth career with local club USC Paloma Hamburg, before moving to Hamburger SV in 2009. He played for various youth levels for 11 years, until 2020. On July 1, 2020, Hein signed his first professional contract with the Hamburg first team.[2] However, he was immediately loaned out to the reserve team, where he spent three years at. In total, he made 72 appearances for Hamburger SV II, scoring 1 goal.[5] In 2023, he made the move to SSV Jahn Regensburg on a free transfer,[6] where he has since made 46 appearances.

International career

Born in Germany of Nigerian descent, Hein could play for either national team.[7] However, he has not made his international debut yet.
