Branson attended St. Pauls High School in Winnipeg, where he excelled athletically, playing football, wrestling, and rugby. In 2024, he signed with the University of Guelph Gryphons, committing to continue his football career at the USport level.

Branson Miller is set to begin his university football career with the University of Guelph Gryphons in the 2024 season. His dedication to the sport and strong performance in high school football has made him a notable player to watch.

Branson's father, Wade Miller, has significantly influenced his life. Wade Miller is well-known for his 11-year career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and his role as the CEO of the team. Born in Portage La Prairie and raised in Winnipeg, Wade has been involved in football his entire life, instilling a passion for the sport in Branson from an early age. Additionally, Branson's cousin, Flynn Miller, signed with the University of Manitoba Bisons in the same class as Branson (class of 2024). Flynn's father and Wade's brother, Ritchie Miller, is an umpire referee in the CFL. On top of that Branson's grandfather Allen, played linebacker for the Blue Bombers during the 1960s after playing for the Washington Redskins in the National Football League.

Branson is known for his involvement in football. He coaches youth football camps run by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Branson's passion extends past football and into the realm of entrepreneurship. Branson seems to be following in his father's footsteps in football and his entrepreneurial goals.
