Draft:Bobby Joe (Rapper)
Submission declined on 15 March 2023 by Bearcat (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: Please note that musicians are not entitled to have Wikipedia articles just because their own music technically verifies its own existence on YouTube or Spotify. The inclusion test for a musician is not automatically passed just because his music exists -- it requires that he would pass one or more criteria in WP:NMUSIC, and it requires third-party coverage about him in reliable sources to verify that those criteria are actually passed and aren't just inflated self-promotional marketing claims. But you've shown absolutely no evidence of WP:GNG-worthy media coverage about him here at all.
As well, please note that it is not your prerogative to remove prior decline notices from the draft so that this looks like a fresh submission — all AFC templates must stay on the draft, and are not free for you to touch at all. Bearcat (talk) 17:14, 15 March 2023 (UTC) - Comment: Fails WP:MUSICBIO - Spotify, TikTok and Genius are not acceptable or reliable sources. Dan arndt (talk) 06:23, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
