Bobby Balachandran(born 1973) is an Indian billionaire business leader and the founder, president and CEO of Exterro INC. he was nominated the finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 award in the Pacific Northwest region.

Early life

Balachandran was born in 1973 in a Tamil middle class family in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer science from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. Fascinated with the subject, he went on to complete MS in Computer science from Portland State University.

Career

He launched his professional career working for US Bank as an application and enterprise architect in USA from 2002 - 2004. Then he served as an Enterprise Architect at Stancorp Financial services from 2004 to 2007.

Then in 2008, he started Exterro INC with Exterro Discovery Management being the first product. Soon, he expanded the product line with Genome, Legal Hold and Ediscovery Data Management in quick succession

In 2018, Exterro INC lead by Bobby secured an 6 figure dollar investment from Leeds Equity pvt ltd.

Following the investment, Exterro INC acquired Jordan Lawrence, a data privacy company in the year 2019 and acquired Access data, Forensic software provider in the year 2019.

Philanthropy

Balachandran is well known for Philanthropy activities. He started the Life Ray foundation in the year 2019 with focus towards the empowerment of women.
