Black Raven Beads is a Dutch jewellery brand, founded in 2021. The brand's collection consists out of charm beads, bracelets, bangles, pendants and rings. The materials used are mainly sterling silver, but also 18-karat gold, glass, pearls, semi-precious stones and wood.
The beads are typically worn on bracelets, bangles, or necklace chains. Bracelets, bangles and rings, were added to the collection in 2024.
History
[edit]The brand launched on 1 September 2021 and is part of the Dutch company CC Van Egmond BV.[1]
When Balinese artist and silversmith Yande.[2] joined the brand at the end of 2021, the brand changed to handcrafted designs. The silver beads are hand-carved in wax and then forged in sterling silver using the lost-wax casting technique. This technique ensures incredible details are retained in the silver beads[3]. Yande previously was the silversmith of bead brand Redbalifrog[2]. Redbalifrog, as a bead brand, retired end of 2019[2][4] and was distributed by CC Van Egmond BV in Benelux, UK, Germany, Italy and Denmark[5].
