Submission declined on 28 November 2024 by Drmies (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Declined by Drmies 18 days ago. |

- Comment: This lacks proper writing and proper formatting, and there's not a single secondary (or even primary!) source here. Drmies (talk) 01:37, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
Bithilde of Cologne was a medieval Merovingian Frank that lived between 538 CE to 603 CE. She was the daughter of Charibert I, the King of the Franks, and Ingoberga, Charibert I's royal consort. She was married to a Frankish senator named Ansbertus. Her son was Arnoald, who was the Bishop of Metz. According to many ancient texts, Arnoald was the father of St. Arnulf of Metz, who is thought to be the farthest known male-line ancestor of the Carolingian Dynasty. This means that the later Carolingians under Charlemagne, including the later kings of East, Middle, and West Francia were descendents of Bithilde of Cologne. If she is an ancestor of Charlemagne, this means that there is a connection between the Merovingians and the Carolingians, and that means that most of the European Royal Houses, including the Capetians, Habsburgs, Windsors, etc, were all related to the Merovingian Franks.
