Besma Benlakhlef (Arabic: بسمة بن لخلف) is a Algerian footballer who plays as a Forward for Saudi Women's First Division League club Al Bayraq and the Algeria national team.
Club career
[edit]In August 2017, Benlakhlef moved to AS de la Sûreté Nationale and continued to be part of the team until 2022.[1]
Al Yamamah
[edit]In October 2022, Benlakhlef joined Al Yamamah FC one of the sides of the newly established Saudi Women's Premier League. She debuted for the club on 12 November 2022, in a 10–0 win over Sama scoring her first goal in the same match.[2]
International career
[edit]Benlakhlef got her first call-up for the senior team in 2015. to participate in friendly matches against Tunisia. On 16 December 2015, She started for the team playing 55 minutes before getting subbed off.[3][4]
She was called again in January 2016 to join a preparatory camp for the 2016 Women's Africa Cup of Nations qualification.[5]
