Bengal Business Council is a business networking group operating in West Bengal. The group has been created with the aim of bringing together Bengali business houses from all across the globe. The current president of the group is Chandrasekhar Ghosh, MD, Bandhan Bank.[1]

Main Focus

The primary focus of Bengal Business Council is to help Bengali businesses grow. It aims to remove obstacles that hinder new Bengali business men and women take the leap and start a business. The council organises various programmes and business fairs to make the Bengali landscape vibrant and accessible.[2][3][4][5][6]

Current Governing Body

The current president of Bengal Business Council is Chandrasekhar Ghosh. Subrata Dutta, MD, George Telegraph and Debarshi Duttagupta, MD, East India Pharmaceutical Works are acting as the Vice Presidents of the council. Avishek Auddy of Dencol and Meghdut Roy Chowdhury of Techno India Group are the chairman and vice chairman of the council respectively.[7]
