The Bendigo Bank Junior Football League is an Australian rules football league for the Central Victoria region. The BJFL motto of 'creating stars of the future' is aimed at developing players both on and off the field and giving opportunity to players, coaches, umpires and officials.

History

The Bendigo Junior Football League, more commonly known as the BJFL, officially dates back to 1958 with competitions and clubs playing in the area prior to the official establishment.[1] Competing clubs in 1958 were South Bendigo, Golden Square Youth Club, PCYC, Flora Hill, North Bendigo, Marist A & B, YMCA and St Vincents. Finalists were Marist A, GSYC, YMCA & St Vincents. The Grand Final was played between Marist A and St Vincents. [1]
