His uncle and aunt are former tennis and basketball champions Mark Bradtke and Nicole Bradtke, and his cousin, Austin Bradtke, played for the Melbourne Demons. He appeared in several musicals including Love Never Dies, Mary Poppins (New Zealand tour), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and The King and I. In 2022, he performed in the Boublil & Schönberg concert Do You Hear the People Sing at Hamer Hall in Melbourne and the Sydney Opera House. Woodbridge then moved to London to study Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music. One of his roles at the academy was Melchior in Spring Awakening.[3]

[edit]In 2024, Woodbridge was cast in the lead role of Evan Hansen in the Australian premiere of Dear Evan Hansen. The musical, produced by the Sydney Theatre Company and Michael Cassel Group, premiered at the Sydney Theatre Company’s Roslyn Packer Theatre on October 12, 2024. The production was directed by Dean Bryant. Woodbridge's performance received positive attention from critics and the theater community.[3]
Personal Life
[edit]Woodbridge grew up in Melbourne, Australia. His mother, Natasha, was very supportive of his pursuit of musical theater, driving him to performing arts school multiple times a week.[2]
