The Battle of Isfahan was a battle between the
Khwarezmian Empire and the Eldiguzids.[1][2]

Background
[edit]Due to the Plundering and Aggressive policies of the Khwarezmian Empire, Eldiguzid Sultan Abu Bakr threatened Tekish and sent him a letter containing the words "If you are a man, you will come to the battlefield, fighting with me is not like fighting with the Marauders in the Steppe!" Tekish answered the letter calmly and politely accepted Abu Bakr's offer of war.[3]
Battle
[edit]First Conflict, Eldiguz army attacked with 4000 people on the battlefield, Tekish responded with 200 horsemen and Tekish pushed Eldiguz army back. Second Conflict, Tekiş offered a duel to Abu Bakr, when Abu Bakr refused Tekish sent a letter saying "You told me you were not a man, what are you now?" Abu Bakr got angry and ordered his entire army to attack, Tekish evaluated this move well and placed his archers in the front lines, Eldiguz army was pushed back thanks to the archers and Eldiguz suffered great losses. Last Conflict, Tekish attacked at night, Eldiguz army which was unprepared for this scattered and started to run away, Abu Bakr escaped and Tekish won this battle.[4][5]
