The Bangladesh Army Corps of Signals is a specialized branch responsible for military communications, ensuring secure and reliable transmission of information during both peacetime and combat operations.

The Signal Corps was established after the formation of the Bangladesh Army in 1971. Its foundations were laid by incorporating expertise from personnel trained in the Pakistan Army Corps of Signals. Over the years, it has developed into a modern communication unit equipped with the latest technology.

Training for the Signal Corps is conducted at the Signals Training Centre and School (STC&S), located in Jessore Cantonment. The institution provides both basic and advanced courses in military communication, electronic warfare, and cybersecurity.

The primary responsibility of the Signal Corps is to manage all communication systems within the Bangladesh Army. This includes setting up and maintaining secure lines of communication, managing radio, satellite, and computer networks, and ensuring the army's communications remain functional in any situation, including joint and international operations.

As part of the Forces Goal 2030 plan, the Signal Corps is undergoing modernization to include advanced technologies like satellite communication, cyber defense systems, and electronic warfare, to improve the army’s operational effectiveness.
