The bacon cheeseburger is a common favorite in America. You can find it in many restaurants around the country. The bacon cheeseburger is a cheeseburger with bacon on it, a simple, yet tasty design. It also may contain lettuce, tomato, onions, and mayo.

History

The bacon cheeseburger was credited to be invented by Dale Mulder—the owner of a A&W franchise in Lansing, Michigan—in 1963. Mulder added the bacon cheeseburger to the menu after having a customer request it over and over again.
