Development

[edit]

A reboot of Babylon 5 was announced in September 2021. The reboot is being produced by Straczynski through Studio JMS, and developed by Warner Bros. Television for The CW.[1] As of May 2022, despite several changes at The CW due to numerous cancellations of other shows resulting from the Warner Bros. Discovery merger, the project was still in active development.[2][3] However, it was later put on hold amidst the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike.[4]
