- Comment: This just summarizes the activities and offerings of the company; instead it should summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the company and what makes it meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Awards do not contribute to notability unless the awards themselves merit articles(like Academy Award or Tony Award or Nobel Peace Prize). If you work for this company, that must be disclosed, see WP:PAID. 331dot (talk) 12:16, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
BGaming is an iGaming content provider and game publisher that produces games for online gambling operators. As of January 2024, the studio's products were presented in over 1,000 projects worldwide. Headquartered in Malta, the company's development offices are located in Poland and Georgia.
Overview
[edit]Since 2013, BGaming had been a department within a gambling software development company, SOFTSWISS,[1] founded by Ivan Montik and Dmitriy Yaikov.[2] In 2018, the studio evolved into an independent company, branching off as a distinct brand with Marina Ostrovtsova as the CEO.
In March 2021, BGaming obtained[3] a Critical Supply Licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), according to Gambling Insider.
In July 2021, the Hellenic Gaming Commission granted[4] the studio a Type A1 supplier licence for the Greek market.
In November 2021, BGaming presented the studio's new concept of Brand Exclusives,[5] an opportunity to create a customized game for a specific online casino. In 2021, as per SiGMA media outlet, BGaming widened[6] its Brand Exclusives line-up by enabling table game customisation. According to AskGamblers, in August 2023, the studio unveiled[7] the performance data of customized games in its case study material for the first time, revealing game development details for Blaze Casino.[7]
In 2021, the company was the first[8] to integrate Provably Fair,[citation needed] a blockchain-based feature, into BGaming's games. It serves as a verification system for online slots, allowing players to check[9] the randomness of the game results.
During 2021-2022, BGaming secured the 1st position in the top 5 crypto-compatible game providers by the share of crypto bets, according to a range of SOFTSWISS reports: State of Crypto Q3 2021,[10] State of Crypto 2021,[11] State of Crypto H1 2022,[12] State of Crypto Q3 2022,[13] State of Digital Coins in 2022.[14]
In August 2022, BGaming hosted[15] its first online event for gambling streamers, announcing long-term plans to develop its influencer marketing direction and support iGaming communities.
In October 2022, BGaming received[16] a Class II licence from the Romanian National Gambling Office, as reported by CasinoBeats.
In 2023, BGaming announced its portfolio expansion with four online slots,[17] developed with the help of artificial intelligence by 90%: Alien Fruits, Wild Chicago, Luck and Magic, and Mice and Magic Wonder Spin.
In July 2023, digital media Yogonet disclosed that the game provider obtained[18] Spanish certification from BMM TestLabs. Since then, BGaming's technical system of gaming software and its games have been officially approved by the Spanish gambling regulator, Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ).
In December 2023, BGaming rose to 7th place[19] globally by reach in gambling streaming, obtained 6th place in the CIS area, and secured 3rd position in the Latin American market, according to Focus Gaming News.
In February 2024, BGaming released[20] Aztec Clusters, an online slot based on analysing more than 10,000 hours of gambling streams.
Products
[edit]As of January 2024, BGaming's portfolio includes video slots, video poker, lottery, card, scratch, crash,[21] and casual games,[22] featuring industry mechanics such as MEGAWAYS,[23] Refilling Reels,[24] Cluster Pays, Hold&Win, Book-Of, and others.
In October 2023, the studio registered Merge Up,[25] as a trademark by EUIPO.
In November 2023, TRUEWAYS was officially registered as a trademark[26] by EUIPO.
In July 2022, BGaming developed its proprietary image compression algorithm[27] that reduced the studio's game portfolio weight by 55% and lessened game loading time, overcoming difficulties with slow internet connections and VPN limitations.
In June 2023, the company initiated real-player game testing with Gemhalla,[28] the first online slot crafted with player input, as per iGaming Business.
In February 2024, in collaboration with Casinolytics, BGaming released[20] the online slot Aztec Clusters based on streamers' data and players' feedback. According to European Gaming digital media, the development process involved[29] the analysis of over 10,000 hours of streams, representing a significant transition towards gaining a better understanding of players.
Sponsorship
[edit]In December 2022, the studio launched[30] a Discord community of responsible gamblers and online streamers together with the Scatters Club,[31] an iGaming community[32] of players and Twitch, Kick, and YouTube streamers.
Between 2022 and 2023, BGaming, in collaboration with the Scatters Club, organized a range of online tournaments[33] for gambling streamers, including Streamers Race[34] and Streamers Battle.[35]
According to Focus Gaming News,[36] in December 2023, the company became the main sponsor of the first online awards ceremony for gambling streamers in the iGaming industry, the Scatters Club Awards.[37] Other sponsors[38] were Nolimit City®, Play'n GO, Stake, Kick, and Casinolytics.

[edit]In May 2021, BGaming released the game in collaboration[44] with the World Boxing Association. The studio donated a portion of the revenue generated from the WBC Ring of Riches to WBC Cares – the World Boxing Council charity foundation.
