Avan Nava (born April 4, 2000) is a Filipino-Canadian professional basketball player for the San Miguel Beermen of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

College career

In college, Avan Nava played for St. Francis Xavier University.[1]

San Miguel Beermen (2024–present)

On July 14, 2024, during the Season 49 draft of the PBA, Nava was selected with the 12th overall pick by the San Miguel Beermen.[2]

On August 10, 2024, after reports that Nava is seen practicing with the TNT Tropang Giga, SMB team Manager Gee Abanilla made it known it hasn't let go of first-round pick Avan Nava. Abanilla said it was the camp of Nava declined what initially was a two-year offer from the Beermen. After signing Kris Rosales, Abanilla said the door still open for Nava and gives the camp of Nava an ultimatum and a new offer of one (1) year contract.[3]

On August 15, 2024, the camp of Avan Nava and SMB finally reach agreement on contract.[4]
