This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). Ava Valianti [1] (born July 22, 2009), is an American singer-songwriter. She independently released her first four singles – Bubble Wrap in October 2023, Middle Ground in February 2024, January in May 2024, and Wishing Well in November 2024. Her debut EP is expected to be released by spring 2025.
Career
[edit]In 2018, Valianti began writing songs and composing music. In 2021, she began working with award-winning composer and producer Chris Plante of CP Pro Audio in the studio. On October 20, 2023, Valianti independently released her debut single, "Bubble Wrap" [2], through Symphonic Distribution [3]. This was followed by other singles including "Middle Ground" [4] on February 23, 2024, "January" [5] on May 24, 2024, and “Wishing Well” on November 22, 2024.
In March, 2024, Valianti was featured in Indie Boulevard Magazine with an exclusive interview and review of her single, "Middle Ground." In the interview, Anita Floa remarked "At just 14 years old, Ava Valianti is already swiftly conquering the world and hearts of people with her new single, “Middle Ground,” right after a successful debut with the track ‘bubble wrap’. Her music not only mesmerizes but also prompts reflection: where does such depth come from in such a young performer?".[6]
Valianti is currently working in the studio on her debut EP [7], anticipated to be released in spring 2025. She writes and composes the melodies for all of her songs.
In May, 2024, Valianti was featured on Unheard Gems[8] where they reviewed her newest release, "January." "Ava Valianti delivers a hauntingly beautiful portrayal of love and loss, capturing the raw emotions of heartbreak with honesty and vulnerability. Through poignant lyricism and ethereal melodies, Valianti invites listeners on a profound journey of self-discovery and acceptance, leaving an indelible impression long after the final note fades away." [9]
In July, 2024, Valianti was nominated for the 2024 New England Music Awards [10] in the categories of “Pop Act of the Year” and “Rising Stars: Massachusetts”.
Personal life
[edit]Valianti is a high-school sophomore and lives at home with her family.
